Where You Can Live

Your Accommodations

Working with the local staff of Imaging the World, our partner in Africa, we have created a network of guest houses and small hotels that volunteers can call home while working in their rural hospital or clinic.

The accommodations we have chosen are first and foremost convenient to your workplace, normally within walking distance. While the rooms have not been built for luxury, they are clean and comfortable. You will have your own room unless you choose to share. The rooms, and the accommodations in general, are secure to protect both you and your possessions.

You can take breakfast at your hotel or guest house, and often other meals as well. Services such as shops and restaurants are normally close by, or at least an inexpensive taxi ride away.

In addition to these considerations, these accommodations have been selected so you have the opportunity to interact with your hosts, getting to know them and the culture that surrounds you.
